What is the dress code for FYUZ?
Business casual is a good fit for FYUZ. Choose something comfortable for a full day of sessions and networking, and wear shoes you can comfortably walk and stand in. And remember: Seattle has LOTS of hills.
What should I wear to the evening receptions?
Our receptions begin immediately at the close of the last session of the day, so your daytime business casual outfit is a good choice for the FYUZ receptions. Check any separate invitation for event-specific dress guidance.
Should I bring a jacket or layers for the meeting rooms?
Yes. A light jacket, cardigan or other removable layer will help you stay comfortable as temperatures vary between meeting rooms and outdoor spaces. Mornings in Seattle start off cool and foggy, and gradually get warmer and sunnier.
What should I pack for Seattle weather?
Bring layers, a water-resistant jacket and comfortable shoes suitable for wet weather. Check the forecast shortly before you travel so you can pack for the conditions.
Will charging points be available?
You will be able to charge devices in the Working Lounge. Bring your device chargers and, if useful, a portable power bank.
Can I bring a reusable water bottle?
Our event sponsor, HPE, has graciously provided water bottles for all attendees this year! You can pick yours up at registration on the Third Floor, or throughout the Fourth Floor.
What does my pass include?
You pass includes access to the FYUZ Exhibition, Summit and Sound Stages (excepting limited, access-controlled sessions), and the FYUZ Happy Hours on Day 1 and 2.
When is the exhibition floor open?
The FYUZ Exhibition Floor is open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday, and until 2:00 PM on Thursday. Our exhibitors and sponsors will have access to set up their stands and do walkthroughs on Monday, November 2, from 3-6 PM. Visit Grand 2 and 3 on the Fourth Floor to explore demonstrations and meet our exhibitors.
