ABOUT THE EVENT
In partnership with the Telecom Infra Project, AWS is hosting an innovative developer challenge focused on transforming multi-vendor RAN integration through AI innovation.
This three-day hackathon, taking place from October 31st to November 2nd at AWS in Dublin, brings together the brightest minds from research, startup, and enterprise communities to create groundbreaking solutions for the telecommunications industry.
FIRST PRIZE: $5,000

CHALLENGE TRACKS
TRACK 1
DATA FOUNDATION
CHALLENGE: Build software for managing large CSP wireless network datasets containing nested relationships across multiple data types (CM, PM, and configuration data)
GOAL: Improve network performance through QoE data analysis, rather than just KPIs
TRACK 2
RAN AI & LLMs
CHALLENGE 1: Develop and contribute innovative ML models leveraging state-of-the-art foundation models (including Llama, Mistral, and other telco-optimized variants) to enhance digital twin capabilities for RAN operations
CHALLENGE 2: Abstract O-RAN interfaces via MCP, A2A, or other agentic frameworks to simplify network operations
TRACK 3
RAN INTELLIGENCE
CHALLENGE: Implement or enhance existing TIP RIA defined rAPP
GOAL: Develop solutions to practical implementations of interference coordination, traffic steering, and RAN slice optimization
FIRST PRIZE: $5,000
